Introducing the New WalkAbout Scout 15" Bass Combo & Scout 15" Bass Radiator Cabinet from Mesa Engineering- Exceptional Tone Made Exceptionally Portable!
On the heels of our industry acclaimed 12" WalkAbout Scout Combo & 12" Scout Bass Radiator Cabinet, comes the anticipated release of their adventurous bigger brothers, the 15" WalkAbout Scout Combo and the 15" Scout Bass Radiator Cabinet. Both of these new products feature the same hyper-performance and mega-portability of their innovative siblings by employing our unique Passive Bass Radiator System, driven by cutting edge Neodymium Speaker Technology that uses "super-strength, feather-weight" Neodymium Magnets in replacement of heavy, bulky, traditional speakers.
These new Mesa "Bass Radiating" designs kick out turbo-charged bass response that is unbelievably fat and articulate, while providing remarkable power handling capacity, all from an exceptionally light and compact cabinet. Our new Crossover Network and a High Frequency Horn with a rear mounted Level Attenuator are also standard, to allow you to perfectly balance the high-end to your application. The new 15" Scout Combo also features our ingeniously gig adaptive, tandem WalkAbout Power Dock. The Power Dock is a "rear-load" mounting compartment (isolated from the speaker cabinet) that was cleverly designed to hold a standard WalkAbout Bass Amplifier to enable you to easily convert your WalkAbout Scout from its Combo format to a stand-alone WalkAbout Bass Head for bigger gigs (or vise versa)! The Scouts physical construction features 1/2" Marine Grade Baltic Birch, which is extremely toneful and resonant, while exceptionally durable and lightweight (impervious to moisture as well). The finishing appointments feature an ultra rugged, black "Rhino Vinyl" covering, a recessed MESA Engineering Logo, a black Twisted Jute Speaker Grille and a heavy-duty, black Leather Handle.
